Laura Hopkins

Laura grew up in York, PA and attended schools in the Red Lion Area School District, where she began playing the violin in the third grade.  In high school she became very active in the choirs, orchestra, pit orchestra and the York County Honors Choir. She graduated from Red Lion Senior High School in May of 2008, and decided to attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduated degree. While at IUP she became active in The IUP String Project, Symphony, and String Ensembles focusing her studies on violin and cello pedagogy.  In May 2012, Laura graduated from IUP with a Bachelor's in Music Education. She currently teaches at Lionville and Uwchlan Hills Elementary Schools, while persuing her Master's in Music Education.

Laura is available on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
