Benjamin Mitchell

    Ben has been making music in one way or another for over 20 years. He's been a private music instructor since 2003. While primarily teaching guitar, he also is able to instruct electric bass, banjo, beginner piano and beginner mandolin.  After beginning piano lesons in grade school, Ben took what he had learned to electric bass and guitar and has continued to branch out musically. A point he likes to make while teaching is that what we learn about music on one instrument can be transferable to other intruments. He put this to work for 5 years + as an auxiliary musician in a local band called Magnifus where he played bass, keyboards, and banjo and encourages musical diversity in his students.  Teaching is more cheerleader than taskmaster. He's passionate about his work and takes great joy in watching his students succeed.
